As a result of the extreme weather we experienced during the start of February 2009 the amount of traffic to the site increased dramatically. During the snows there was up to 600 visitors a day logging on to see the latest weather and our localised forecast. As a consequence we were featured on the Meridian Tonight,Channel 4 news, The Daily Telegraph, Radio 5 Live, Eagle radio and the Farnham Herald.
The Meridian Tonight clip went out on 10th June and shows Neil Dockar being described as a "Weather Great" before being interviewed by Meridian's own somewhat more famous Simon Parkin about this website and the service it provides to Farnham, Crondall the Oak Park Golf Club as well as the surrounding communities. You can see it on Youtube by clicking on the video.
The Channel 4 feature which went out on 20th February can be seen below - our section starts about 5mins 30secs into the clip (just grab the slider with your mouse)
We also appeared on the Radio 5 Live weekend news on 21st February. You can hear the clip by clicking here and our section starts 58 minutes into the show (just grab the slider and drag it to that section).
